This knapsack is made of 13 oz. canvas and is patterned after the one shown in Klinger's "Sketchbook `76". It is 15" wide x 13" high and is gusseted so that a thickness of 4 3/4" can be obtained. It is designed for carrying squarely on the soldier's back by means of the two straps which are held in place by a canvas cord. Has three 7/8" pewter buttons. Comes unpainted.
