This backsword has a cut steel hilt. The grip is leather covered with twisted iron wire. The blade has single fuller which is 32 1/2" long and 1 1/4" wide at hilt. The steel mounted scabbard is wood and covered in black leather. These swords were "issue" weapons to Scottish Regiments. Weighs 3 1/2 lbs.
