Our roasting grill is made of strap iron 1/8" thick and with forged legs and handle. It's copied from the original shown in Neumann-Kravic's "Collector's Illustrated Encyclopedia of the American Revolution". The overall length is 28" and the handle is 17-1/2" long. The grille surface is 10" square and the legs are 8" high. It was placed directly over hot coals for cooking.
