This sash is the flat tassel type in the correct magenta color and is copied from the original in the Valley Forge Museum which was owned by George Washington. It has 7" tassels on each end, multiple folded, and was intended to open into a sort of stretcher onto which the officer could be carried from the battlefield when wounded. When ordering please advise waist size.
