A typical 18th Century water bucket, made from oak, using steel hoops which are hand-wrought. There were never two of these alike. This one has a 9 1/2" outside diameter at the top, 11" at the bottom and is 11 1/4" high. The oak is 3/4" thick. A piece of 3/4" hemp rope serves as a handle.
