This dress is adapted from an American gown at the Brooklyn Museum and has the higher daytime neckline. The shorter bodice fastens in front with buttons and the full skirt features pleats in front along with a full gathered back. Very long sleeves have fullness at the shoulder-cap and flared cuffs over the hands.
