This is a black leather box with a white latigo strap. It is correct for Americans using the Charleville Musket. Sometimes called the "Lafayette" Box because numbers of them were given to the American Army by him during the Revolution. The combination of cartridge holes and tin tray allow this box to hold as many as 32 cartridges. A strap is included.
