Deluxe Matched Powder Horn Pair: [#130] Our best horns. The priming horn and larger one are carefully
selected to match as to color, size and general shape. The pouring spouts are hand turned
and the plugs are fastened with round headed brass nails. The spouts are a lighter shade
of old brown than the "octagonned" part of the neck while the body of the horn
is still lighter. The overall workmanship is superb.

Priming Horn: [#134PPH] Primitive type that hung from a thong attached to the rifleman's
hunting bag. Thong was looped around the neck of the horn. Plug was pulled with the teeth,
held there until the pan was primed, replaced by pushing the hole in the horn against the
plug; the whole was then allowed to drop from the mouth as far as the thong permitted...a
fast, efficient method of priming.
