1812 American Bayonet Scabbard [#312] This scabbard is for the Charleville bayonet. Note that the locket is off-set on the rear of the scabbard and the stitching is sewn down the center of the backside. It uses a #19 locket and #16 brass tip.
Eagle Belt Buckle [#655] The Eagle Belt Buckle is cast out of white bronze measuring 3-3/8" x 2-1/2". The die is the same as the 1814 cap plate. Previously thought to be worn only by officers as early as 1815, recent information from Mr. Fred Gaede's article "US Infantry Accoutrements, Model of 1808" shows this plate as also being used from 1816 to 1819 by enlisted men. It is made of pewter with iron backing.

1804 British Naval Cutlass [#510] This weapon has a guard and grip of black steel. The single edge blade is 28" long and is 1-1/2" wide at the grip. There are no fullers. The scabbard has a brass throat and tip.

1808 American Naval Cutlass [#511] This uniquely designed cutlass was assigned to the USS Niagara. The guard is of satin finished steel and the grip is polished hardwood. The 28" blade is stamped "Replica" as requested by the present restorers of the vessel.

The leather scabbard has a locket on the throat for use with a shoulder belt as well as rings for use with a clip and chain to be attached to a waist belt. The hardware is brass.
