Our traveling chests are handmade of oak with dovetail construction and an interlocking lid for a tight seal keeping out moisture and insects! The interior dimensions are carefully calculated to fit one of the inexpensive Styrofoam coolers found in discount stores. The cooler pulls out easily for replacement at the end of a long hot season, or to accommodate something practical, like clothes. Measurements are 18.5" long, 14" wide and 16" high.
